Kany García at the 2014 Fiestas Patronales de Peñuelas, Puerto Rico
If you feel like doing something different the weekend of October the 30th, pack your bags and come to Puerto Rico. The South of the island is already rumbling in preparation for the 2014 Fiestas Patronales de Peñuelas. They have invited 4 performers that have won 10 Grammy Awards in the past years, among them, Kany García.
Kany García – With ten (10) nominations and three (3) awards, this professional musician, signer, and songwriter has one of the most most privileged voices in today Puerto Rico. You will be able to listen to her songs, which are sensitive, intelligent, and sometimes irreverent. She will be performing on Saturday, November the 1st.
About Peñuelas
Peñuelas is a small town located in the South of Puerto Rico. It is known as the “Flamboyant Valley” due to the abundance of beautiful trees with red flowers called “flamboyanes”. The view of these trees by the side of roads in the countryside is spectacular and the best time to watch them is Summer.
