About Peñuelas

Peñuelas is a small town located in the South of Puerto Rico and is bordered by Ponce, Adjuntas, Guayanilla, and the Caribbean Sea. It is known as the “Flamboyant Valley” due to the abundance of beautiful trees with red flowers called “flamboyanes”. The view of these trees by the side of roads in the countryside is spectacular and the best time to watch them is Summer.
