The video of La Canción alludes to “el difunto” (the deceased) and “la difunta” , a metaphor refering to the “exes”. It starts with the spirit of a deceased male exiting a NY Subway Station, then entering a dance hall where Bad Bunny and J. Balving are singing, wearing makeup resembling “Día de los Muertos” masks. A female is dancing on the dancing floor, while the male is realizing that he thought he had forgotten her, but all the memories of their passionate past came back when he listened to her favorite song. The image of the female dancer in the hall is mixed with that of a spirit.
